Honolulu Chocolate Company is now celebrating its 25th year in business. The company has blossomed since its humble beginnings as a small local shop nestled in Manoa Valley.
Frank Hustace, who was a regular customer, liked the Manoa shop so much that he shared our chocolates with his brother in an effort to encourage his family and Ward Centers management to allow the shop to open at the mall. As a result of Hustace’s brother’s desire to include the business in the layout for Ward Centers, an offer was extended to Honolulu Chocolate Company, and the rest is chocolate history.
To date, we currently have two locations, with the newest chocolate shop opening just over three years ago at the Sheraton Waikiki.
The company continues to take pride in being locally owned and operated, with continued involvement in the local community.
It has remained consistent with the manufacturing of its specialty chocolates, using some of the finest ingredients available.
The business also boasts an array of imported chocolates, ornaments and gifts from around the world from countries such as Germany, France, Belgium and Italy.
Honolulu Chocolate Company also continues to strive for success and the highest over-all customer satisfaction, aiming at providing our customers with the ultimate shopping experience by providing the highest quality items with superior customer service.
It is these qualities that have helped the company develop and maintain a loyal customer following, thus allowing it to become a part of many continued family traditions for virtually every occasion.
The near future holds new and exciting developments for Honolulu Chocolate Company.
The staff is currently working on creating new and delectable chocolates in their kitchen on-site at the Ward Centers location. These additions to the line of gourmet chocolates come as the Howard Hughes Corporation is renovating and revitalizing Ward Centers to boost an atmosphere of shopping with an emphasis on details that make every shopper’s experience a positive and personal one.
