* FILM NIGHT Wahiawa Library screens a free film for families and young adults at 5:30 p.m. May 27. Call 622-6345.
* TRUCKS Mililani Library presents “Touch a Truck” at 10 a.m. May 31, inviting children who sign up for the summer reading program to touch big trucks and learn all about them in the library parking lot. The four-hour event includes science-related activities and prizes. Call 627-7470.
* BANDSTAND Waialua Bandstand hosts entertainment by Na Lei Nani o Waialua Hula Halau at 4 p.m. June 1. Call 637-9721.
* BON DANCE Practice starts June 3 for Wahiawa Hongwanji Mission’s annual bon dance, set for 6:30 p.m. June 27 and 28, with dinner from 6 p.m., a country store, silent auction, keiki games and dancers from the temple’s Take-daiko Group. Dance practice is 7-9 p.m. June 3, 10 and 17. Keiki and family practice is at 1 p.m. June 22, and Okinawa practice runs from 7 to 9 p.m. June 24. Call 392-3253.
