Caroll Han Wins A $250 Shopping Spree At Foodland

On a recent Monday, Caroll Han needed some groceries, so she went to Foodland at Ala Moana Center. As she left the store at 1:10 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Caroll with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Foodland shopping spree.

“I like the convenience,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper on what she likes about Foodland. “Also, the clerks are very friendly, and I enjoy their coffee.”

Caroll, who is originally from upstate New York, has lived in Hawaii for about 35 years. A retired teacher, she enjoys reading and writing. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like the feature articles,” she said. “And I like to read (columns by) Bob Jones and Dan Boylan, and the letters to the editor.”
