Car Dealer To Host ‘Hott Nitz’

Amid the gleaming new cars, live entertainment and keiki activities Saturday, there’s a chance to do some good at Hott August Nitz at Windward Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Hyundai.

Running from 5 to 10 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Kahuhipa Street dealership, the fourth annual event includes Peter’s Special Project, which is a school supply drive for special needs students. (Check lists posted at local retailers to see which items are needed.)

Hott August Nitz also has free food, shave ice, balloon making, face painting, games, giveaways and more. HPD will run a keiki ID booth, and Johnna Padeken-Parel, Hawaiian Soul and DJ Hapa Boy will entertain. And, of course, there will be plenty of new cars on display.
