Calvary Keiki Karnival A Cake Walk Saturday

Calvary Episcopal Preschool’s eighth annual Keiki Karnival is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, offering plenty of fun, food and nostalgia for everyone.

A unique feature will be the old-fashioned cake walk, offering cakes baked from scratch, and the winners get to decorate their own cakes. Also planned are Nozawa’s Pet Ark and Pony Rides, bouncers, games, a silent auction and bake sale. The event is the Kaneohe preschool’s largest fundraiser of the year.

Founded in 1967, it also has a tradition of holding onto its teachers and aides. Teacher’s aide Lynn Mossman, for example, recently marked her 30th year at the preschool and is now teaching her second generation of keiki.
