BWS Hosts Wreath Workshop
For those who are looking for festive holiday decorations, the Board of Water Supply provides the perfect do-it-yourself answer with two holiday wreath-making workshops: from 10:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 30 and also Dec. 7 at Halawa Xeriscape Garden.
Each session will guide participants on how to use unthirsty xeriscape plants to create colorful holiday wreaths. People should bring one round wreath form (made of straw, not foam) less than 12 inches in diameter, 50 to 80 floral U pins, clippers, containers for wreath materials, and ribbons or other holiday decorations.
The class is free for Friends of Halawa Xeriscape Garden members or $5 for non-members. Registration is required by the Friday before each class, or until spaces are filled.
To register, call Diane Moses at 748-5363 or email workshops@hbws.org. For more information on this and other classes, visit boardofwatersupply.com.
