Butterflies To Visit Pearlridge
Butterflies are fluttering into Pearlridge Center this summer for “Flutter: A Green Experience.”
As this year’s annual summer exhibit at Pearl-ridge Center, the display will feature eco-friendly, hands-on activities that include weekend educational workshops and a scavenger hunt for prizes.
The Exploration Station will give children the opportunity to participate in a different activity each day. And at the center of it all is the Butterfly Pavilion, which will house hundreds of living butterflies.
Visitors can watch as the creatures move through their life cycle from an egg to a caterpillar to a butterfly.
The exhibit will be open to the public from June 15 through July 14 during regular shopping hours.
The Butterfly Pavilion and Exploration station will be located in Pearlridge Uptown, while the educational workshops will be in Pearlridge Downtown.
Admission to the Butterfly Pavilion is $3 per person; children under 8 will be admitted free with a paying adult. The other activities are free.
