Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Kathleen L. Mah, M.D. has been appointed The Queen’s Medical Center’s medical director for operating rooms. Mah is a general surgeon at QMC. She has been assistant chief, department of surgery at QMC since 2009 and chief, division of general surgery, at QMC since 2007. She also is currently secretary-treasurer of the American College of Surgeons, Hawaii chapter.
Timothy Cottrell has been named head of school by the Board of Governors of Iolani School. Cottrell is currently in his sixth year as head of school at The Harley School, an independent, co-educational, college-preparatory school serving approximately 520 students in nursery through 12th grade in Rochester, N.Y.
Ramsey Hasan, M.D. has been announced as The Hawaii Health Systems Corporation’s (HHSC) state community hospitals’ chief medical information officer (CMIO). Hasan will oversee physician adoption and integration of health information technology throughout the HHSC system. He will work closely with the medical staffs, administration and information technology department as HHSC moves forward with its conversion to electronic medical records (EMR).
Chelsea Morimoto is The Plaza Club’s new dining room and service manager. Morimoto joins the club after serving in leadership roles at Gordon Biersch Brewing Co. and Kailua Town Pub & Grill.
Noah Guy has joined the Cowabunga Computer team. He has more than five years of experience working on PCs and network systems. Guy will be responsible for commercial maintenance accounts as the primary on-site technician.
