Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii – 8/28/13
Randall Ishikawa has been appointed senior vice president and general counsel with Pulama Lana’i. He is responsible for leading the company’s legal team and will provide legal counsel to support the organization’s vision and mission. Prior to joining Pulama Lana’i, Ishikawa served as associate general counsel in the University of Hawaii’s Office of the University General Counsel, where he focused on transactional, administrative and litigation counsel for UH and its campuses.
Jason Uejo has been appointed sales and service manager of Servco Subaro, Waialae. In this position, he will be responsible for all operations of the dealership, including new and used vehicle sales, service and management of staff. Most recently, Uejo served as general sales manager of Servco Auto Honolulu.
Timothy Liu has been promoted to senior director of international sales-Asia with Hawaiian Airlines. In this new role, he is responsible for leading and overseeing all of Hawaiian Airlines’ sales efforts throughout Asia, as well as developing strategies for entry into new markets. Liu has more than 15 years of combined experience in airline and business management and most recently served in positions with United Airlines and Northwest Airlines.
David Kenny has been promoted to assistant vice president and director of deposit operations at Hawaii National Bank. He now leads the bank’s deposit operations department, including the oversight of the transaction management department. Kenny joined the bank in 2007 as a customer-support trainee, most recently serving as manage of deposit operations.
Nina Ota has been appointed assistant vice president of agency relations with First Insurance Company of Hawaii. Her responsibilities now include managing FICOH’s relationship with its statewide independent agency network and overseeing agency-facing aspects of the company’s systems initiatives. Ota began her career at FICOH in 1998 as a career trainee and held positions in several departments.
