Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Christopher Blanchard has been named president and CEO of Easter Seals Hawaii. He will oversee 460 employees statewide and manage a $17 million annual operating budget. In addition, Blanchard will provide leadership for ESH’s programs and services, finances, personnel and fundraising levels. Most recently, he was a civilian chief of staff at Marine Corps Base Hawaii for five years.
Garret S. Horimoto, architect, CDT, has been promoted from associate to senior associate at Architects Hawaii Ltd. He joined AHL in 2001 as a project architect with more than 19 years of project administration, project delivery and construction administration experience.
Brooke Honda has been appointed to HomeLoan Consultants of the Central Pacific HomeLoan Division on the sales team. She has more than 17 years of operations, merchandising, planning and management experience, and previously was a buyer for Hilo Hattie. She will be responsible for generating new mortgage loans from Realtors, prospective homebuyers and borrowers who wish to modify or refinance existing mortgage loans.
Presentacion “Precy” Asuncion has been named a patient care coordinator with Kuakini Geriatric Care Inc. and will oversee Kuakini’s intermediate care facilities in the Hale Pulama Mau building. She brings more than 35 years of nursing experience in Hawaii and previously worked as a manager of the brain injury unit at Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, where she will continue as a weekend nursing supervisor.
Keenan Sue has been promoted to managing director for Bishop Street Commercial from his previous position as director of the office services group. He will be responsible for 2 million square feet of Class A office space in each of the three largest office supermarkets in Hawaii. Sue also provides real estate advisory services, including leasing, acquisitions/dispositions, restructuring and transaction logistics.
