Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Thong Songvilay is now the vice president of the Central Pacific Bank McCully branch. He brings to the position more than 20 years of branch managerial experience. In his new position, Songvilay will lead, coach and inspire his team to consistently meet and exceed the specific financial needs of CPB’s customers, including consumer and local business. Previously, Songvilay was a branch manager with American Savings Bank.
Susan R. Murray now is The Queen’s Heath System’s senior vice president, West Oahu region, and chief operating officer for The Queen’s Medical Center-West Oahu. She brings to the position more than 20 years of experience in a broad array of senior health care executive management and leadership roles, and will coordinate the development of services and programs for the West Oahu region for Queen’s, as well as serve as chief operating officer and executive-in-charge of the West Oahu campus and hospital. Murray previously was the Hawaii regional hospital administrator and regional vice president for quality, safety and service for Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospital.
Vincent Learned has been appointed vice president and institutional and retirement plan services manager of Central Pacific Bank. He now is responsible for the oversight and growth of the Trust Division, specific to retirement plan services. He also is responsible for ensuring satisfaction of regulatory and internal compliance and bank reporting compliance. Learned has more than 10 years of finance and banking experience in areas such as wealth management, controllers and trust, and more recently was a financial adviser with Wells Fargo.
Lyle Matsuoka has been named executive manager of operations for Ruby Tuesday Hawaii. He now will oversee operation of all five Ruby Tuesday Hawaii locations (Mililani, Moanalua, Ala Moana, Windward Mall and Kihei). In addition, Matsuoka will continue to oversee operations of GyuKaku Windward Mall. He brings decades of food service experience and expertise to both operations.
