Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Geri Perez has been appointed to the position of merchant at City Mill, Hawaii’s locally owned and operated chain of home-improvement centers. Perez started at City Mill in 1999 as a sales associate at the Pearl City branch, and was promoted to receiving data processor later that year. In May 2000, Perez became an inventory control supervisor. She recently joined the merchandising team as associate merchant in April 2012.
Michelle Suzuki added City Mill merchant to her current duties as sole merchant for Simply Organized, City Mill’s sister company specializing in storage and organization. She brings to the position more than 20 years of retail experience along with expertise in storage and organization solutions. Suzuki started with Simply Organized in 2004 and formerly was at Duty Free Shoppers and Hawaiian Island Creations.
Bo Schlotzhauer has been named product manager for Mobi PCS. He will be responsible for introducing new phones, data products and accessories. He will lead product launch, working with both technical specialists in the Mobi engineering department and store managers statewide. Most recently he served as director of product management and carrier relations at Super Fair Cellular in Detroit.
Jason Maxwell has been hired as Punahou Fitness Center’s chief executive officer. A certified master personal trainer, he will oversee aspects including operations, finance, membership and sales, marketing, group classes and personal training. With nearly 20 years in the health and fitness industry, he is an expert in functional fitness and has experience with special population individuals who have physical challenges or conditions, such as those battling Parkinson’s, ALS or MS.
Terri Miyoi has been welcomed by Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union as manager of its Dole Cannery branch. Miyoi has nearly 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including the areas of sales and product development, collections, customer service, marketing and management. She was Stevedores/Castle & Cooke FCU branch manager and had worked as branch manager for Hawaiian Tel FCU and assistant VP and branch manager at Finance Factors Ltd.
