Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii
Robin R. Johnson has been appointed chief executive officer of Helping, Understanding & Group Support (HUGS). Johnson will oversee strategic planning, administration, resource development and communications for HUGS. She has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector as the principal of Social Currency, a consultancy serving philanthropists and nonprofit service providers.
Tomoyuki Moriizumi has been nominated by Hawaiian Airlines to the board of directors of Hawaiian Holdings Inc. and its subsidiary Hawaiian Airlines Inc. Moriizumi, 64, has served since 2011 as a director of Kadokawa Group Holdings Inc., a diversified media and entertainment conglomerate in Japan with operations in publishing, film and interactive media.
Dancine Takahashi has been hired as director of alumni relations for Ke Alii Pauahi Foundation – a nonprofit support organization of Kamehameha Schools. Takahashi will be responsible for the development and implementation of programs and events that keep Kamehameha Schools alumni connected and involved with the school, foundation and other alumni. Takahashi is a 1979 Kamehameha graduate.
Kathy Dittmar has been appointed director of women’s services at Pali Momi Medical Center. She will work with the hospital’s breast imaging radiologists and multi-specialty physicians to ensure a smooth transition to the center, which opens in July.
Dale Payson has joined the staff at Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu as an executive sales and leasing agent. Previously, Payson was with BMW of Honolulu for nine years, as well as host and head writer of the automotive TV show Ohana Road, which aired on KITV from 2003 to 2009.
