Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 7/9/14
Dr. Craig M. Ono has been appointed chief of staff for Shriners Hospitals for Children – Honolulu. He has served as acting chief of staff since December 2013 and has been an orthopaedic surgeon at the hospital since 1992.
Robert Yu has been named president of Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii for 2014-2015. He currently is senior vice president and deputy general manager for Oahu Transit Services Inc., the company that runs and manages the public bus system for City and County of Honolulu. He was elected to Chinese Chamber’s board of directors in 2010 and previously served as its second and third vice president.
Eddie Flores Jr. has been named president-elect of Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii for 2014-2015. He currently is president of the L&L restaurant chain, and recently helped to establish the Chinatown Community Development Center.
Lucy Lessard has been promoted to director of rehabilitation services for The Queen’s Medical Center. Her responsibilities now include inpatient and outpatient therapies; Hawaii Kai Therapy Clinic; Sports Medicine Clinic; and the Spine, Pain, and Therapy Clinic in Physicians’ Office Building III.
Gail Cosgrove has joined Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel. She centers her work in civil litigation, primarily medical liability, complex litigation, product liability and toxic tort litigation. She also is a lecturer-in-law at University of Hawaii’s William S. Richardson School of Law. She has been practicing law for more than 30 years.
