Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 7/30/14
James Jonah has been promoted to project manager with Graham Builders. He now will be responsible for overseeing projects once they are in the construction phase, working and coordinating with subcontractors, creating and managing schedules and material deliveries.
Darby Collado has been hired by King Windward Nissan to lead its new commercial vehicle service and sales team. He now will manage sales, promotions and business relations of all commercial fleet vehicles for King Windward Nissan.
Richelle Abiang has been promoted to marketing manager with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. She will serve as a liaison between CBP’s leadership team, agents and staff as well as plan and manage the firm’s marketing budget. She also is responsible for developing agent marketing tools that will further enhance CBP agents’ marketing efforts, and assist in the branding, retention and recruitment of CBP’s local operating company (LOC) program.
Charity Shaffer has been promoted to digital marketing manager with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. She will be responsible for managing and maintaining CBP’s eMarketing, social media sites, online advertising and company websites, as well as supervise the firm’s technical marketing programs. She also will contribute content to CBP’s Hawaiihome.me blog, and oversee all eMarketing graphic design projects and production art, as well as Web design, photography and video editing.
Lenny Yajima has been named president of Japan-America Society of Hawaii effective Oct. 1. Her service with Hawaii’s Japanese-American community includes chairmanship of Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce’s 40th Cherry Blossom Festival, and she has been the spokeswoman for Honolulu Festival Foundation for several years.
