Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 7/16/14
John Zhang has been appointed first vice president of Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii for 2014-2015. He began his career with Panda Restaurant Group as general manager in 1997 and currently serves as regional director, responsible for all Panda Express locations in Hawaii, Guam, Alaska and new concepts. He joined Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii and has served as a board of director and executive officer since 2007.
Randy Clark, CMP, has been appointed regional sales manager with Landmark Hotels Group, management company of The Kahala Hotel & Resort in Honolulu and Makena Beach & Golf Resort on Maui. He will be based at The Kahala and will oversee meetings and incentive sales for southwestern U.S., Hawaii, Oceania and Europe markets.
Michele Hadano, RN, has been promoted to director of Orthopedic and Surgical Units, Surgical Intensive Care Unit and the Comprehensive Weight Management Program with The Queen’s Medical Center.
Jorgette Villacorte has been hired as project administrator for RevoluSun’s Oahu division. She will provide project management and administrative support to RevoluSun’s portfolio of residential and commercial solar projects, and will oversee coordination of project processes, including intake, documentation, and project tracking and reporting. She also will provide administrative support to the Operations department.
Donn Nakamura has been promoted to principal with Accuity LLP. He has a bachelor of commerce in accounting from Santa Clara University and previously worked as a senior manager for the company, joining Accuity LLC and its predecessor PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 1998. A Punahou School graduate, Nakamura has been in the accounting industry for 16 years.
