Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 5/6/15
Marcus Ito has been promoted to director of sales and marketing with Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk. In this new role, he will focus on increasing business opportunities in all current and potential source markets, with a focus on growing the group segment, enhancing strong client relationships and providing support to Trump Waikiki’s exceptional team of sales professionals.
Kapoe Jimenez has been hired as marketing specialist by RevoluSun. He is responsible for designing, creating and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services. His duties include developing sales presentations, compiling market-based reports, and building the analytical framework to bridge strategy and execution.
Jeanne Schultz Afuvai has been appointed president and CEO of Hawaii Institute for Public Affairs. She is responsible for moving HIPA forward as the premier public policy firm in the state, and for overseeing projects and fundraising.
Janna Muscare, RN, has been appointed vice president of Quality, Safety and Patient Experience with Kaiser Permanente for the Hawaii region. She will provide strategic leadership to ensure high quality member experiences, directing development, communication and implementation of programs, policies and procedures to improve patient care in all areas of the care-delivery system. She also will oversee the direction of clinical measurements and guidelines, and ensure regulatory accreditation and compliance, as well as workplace safety and quality oversight.
Matthew T. Evans has been promoted to a director with Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert. He has been with the firm since 2008 and practices primarily in the firm’s Real Estate and Construction, Business and Commercial, Dispute Resolution and Creditor’s Rights practice groups.
