Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 5/28/14
Jeff Pauker has been promoted to director, acquisitions with A&B Properties Inc., the real estate subsidiary of Alexander & Baldwin Inc. He now will be responsible for the implementation of A&B Properties’ strategic growth initiative of investments and acquisitions in Hawaii. Pauker joined A&B Properties, Inc. in March 2012 as project manager, acquisitions.
Jennifer Baker has been appointed to vice president and appraisal manger with Central Pacific Bank. She now is responsible for supervising residential and commercial real estate appraisals, valuations and reviewing activities. Baker has 15 years of finance and asset management experience. Prior to joining CPB, she was vice president of the Special Assets and Risk Management divisions at Bank of Hawaii.
Norman S. Black has been named vice president of administration with Brigham Young University-Hawaii. He now will serve on the BYU-Hawaii President’s Council and is responsible for Financial Services, Materials Management (purchasing, travel services, print services, Mail Center, Campus Distribution Center), Human Resources and Security. Black has been with BYU-Hawaii since 2011 as director of enterprise information systems.
Kaleo’okalani (Kaleo) McCabe has been promoted to Internet sales manager with King Windward Nissan. He now is responsible for developing and implementing processes that will track and maximize outreach for Internet car sale leads, and will manage all aspects of Internet sales, including lead qualify tracking, customer service and follow up, lead to sales transitions and his team. McCabe earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Hawaiian language from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and is a Punahou School graduate.
