Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 4/8/15
Jameson “James” Delanoza has been named service manager of the Servco Lexus Honolulu dealer-ship. He is responsible for providing all Servco Lexus Honolulu customers with an outstanding customer-service experience, and also will manage the daily operations of the service department, overseeing a staff of 46.
Colby Takeda has been promoted to administrator of The Plaza Assisted Living at Waikiki, scheduled to open in the fall. He will be responsible for The Plaza at Waikiki’s operations, and will supervise all management staff. He previously served as administrator-in-training at The Plaza at Pearl City and activity director at The Plaza at Mililani.
Michelle Sigmund has been hired as COO/CFO with Saint Louis School. She now oversees implementation of the school’s strategic plan, large-scale capital improvement projects and all financial management for the campus. She also manages the school business office and supervises personnel for Mamiya Theatre, human resources, the bookstore and facilities office.
Jumpei Kimura has been appointed vice president of strategic planning with First Insurance Company of Hawaii. Kimura first joined the company in July 2012 as manager of strategic planning and has been instrumental in guiding the copmany’s many strategic and tactical planning efforts.
Linda Puu, RN, MSN has been promoted to hospital administrator for Kaiser Permanente’s Moanalua Medical Center. She brings an extensive back-ground in nursing, including specialty and critical care services, as well as management experience to her new role.
Kahealani Winchester, P.E. has joined Group 70 International in its civil engineering division. Her main responsibilities as a civil engineer include project coordination, and the design and development of construction documents and plans. She previously was with Community Planning & Engineering Inc.
Dyanna Okazaki has been hired as communications manager of McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii for the Hawaii Region. She has more than 20 years of experience in development, marketing and communications. She previously served as executive director of Hawaii Nature Center.
Terence Walsh has been hired as sales manager with Hawaiian Host Inc. He will implement and execute sales plans established by the sales and marketing departments, and his responsibilities include preparing sales presentations and making sales calls with brokers, as well as managing and training brokers about brand company policies. He also will act as a customer liaison.
