Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 3/26/14

Mary-Jean Shiroma has been hired as benefits consultant at Servco Pacific Inc. She will service existing Servco Insurance accounts and develop new business, and will work closely with clients to guide them through emerging trends in employee benefits, the annual renewal process and recommend additional options that complement or enhance their current benefit offerings.

Alan Arizumi has been promoted to vice chairman and Wealth Management Group manager at First Hawaiian Bank. He will oversee FHB’s Institutional Wealth Management, Wealth Advisory, Investment Services, Private Banking, Personal Trust and Bishop Street Capital Management areas. He began his banking career with First Hawaiian, joining the bank in 1983, and also is a member of the bank’s Senior Management Committee.

Mizzie Castillo has been hired by Xpedite LLC as manager of its financial services division. She will be responsible for coordinating all of Xpedite’s services for financial services clients, which include mortgage processing, customer contact centers, accounting and other back-office solutions.

Diane Bruce has been hired as assistant marketing manager at Hawaiian Host Inc. to assist with the planning and development of regional marketing efforts for the Hawaii region. She will be involved with Hawaiian Host’s sales and marketing activities, including annual market-plan development, advertising, marketing research, public relations, consumer marketing programs and more. She most recently was marketing manager for Howard Hughes Corporation and General Growth Properties for Ward Centers.

Brandon Panoke has been promoted to manager of American Savings Bank’s Hawaii Kai branch. He will oversee sales, operations and business development of the branch, including productivity and team development. He first joined ASB in 2011.
