Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 3/25/15
Michael Coates has been promoted to executive vice president and Operations Services Division manager with First Hawaiian Bank. He will oversee operations and business processes activities at FHB, and is responsible for directing the entire suite of money, check, electronic and corporate payment-processing channels. Coates also manages a diverse group of business units that provide centralized support to the bank’s 63-branch network.
Chris Dods has been promoted to executive vice president and Marketing Communications Division manager with First Hawaiian Bank. Dods will lead strategic development of the bank’s advertising, direct mail, special events, corporate communication and employee media departments, as well as deposit, IRA and cards services product areas. He also will manage all aspects of the bank’s branding, new merchandising and collateral programs to ensure consistency in the bank’s corporate image and messaging, and oversee consumer and small-business credit and debit payment platforms.
Nikki Yamauchi has been hired as an associate with Imanaka Asato in its Real Estate Development and Finance group. She previously worked as a law clerk at Central Pacific Bank and for the state Department of Education’s Civil Rights Compliance Office.
Kristeen Hanselman has been promoted to executive director of University of Hawaii Professional Assembly. She has been associate executive director since December 2007, responsible for contract grievance enforcement, collective bargaining, membership engagement programs, government affairs and communications.
Allyn Wijnveldt has been named floor manager at Servco Auto Waipahu. He will assist in managing Servco Auto Waipahu’s Toyota and Chevrolet new and preowned automobile sales staff.
