Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 2/25/15
Lee Moriwaki has been promoted to executive vice president and chief information officer at Central Pacific Bank. As CIO, he is responsible for company-wide strategic direction and management of technology and bank operations. This includes managing computer and network operations, loan and deposit operations, and the bank’s customer service center.
Kamakana Kaimuloa has been appointed vice president of military affairs with Chamber of Commerce Hawaii. In this position, he will work with the Chamber’s Military Affairs Council, comprised of business leaders, Hawaii government officials, and retired military flag and general officers, to mobilize support and preservation of the military’s presence in Hawaii, as well as promote public awareness of issues challenging the military.
Giorgio Caldarone has been named director of real estate planning with Kamehameha Schools, a newly created position in the schools’ Commercial Real Estate Division. He will develop regional and market-area plans to enhance strategic returns for the trust’s educational mission by working closely with Kamehameha’s staffers to develop land-use plans that will advance the school’s missions and values on its properties throughout Hawaii.
David Gorman has been named general manager of RevoluSun’s one-stop-shop entity for sustainable home technology, RevoluSun Smart Home. In his new role, Gorman will lead the sales and operations teams and will be responsible for delivering RevoluSunSmart Home’s growing suite of curated home-improvement products designed to create a more efficient, intelligent and comfortable living experience for RevoluSun customers.
Kimberly Bastatas-Fukuda has been hired as project coordinator with RevoluSun. She will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, including processing jobs to ensure they move forward efficiently, maintaining and updating project documentation, tracking and reporting project status, scheduling and overall coordination of all project processes for each of her RevoluSun clients.
Jeanine Okubo has been hired as senior project manager with Allied Builders System. She will utilize her past work experience with luxury retail and other specialty clientele to develop and oversee new client relationships and projects in the retail sector. She most recently served as marketing project manager with Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company.
Randy Whiteford has been promoted to director of food and beverage at The Plaza Club. He will oversee all aspects of food and beverage at the club in addition to developing and executing The Plaza Club’s innovative dining menu. He’s also responsible for training the culinary team and managing dayto-day kitchen operations.
Keri Taoka has been promoted to tax director with Hawaiian Telcom. She now oversees Hawaiian Telcom’s payroll and tax departments and is responsible for the company’s income tax returns and reports, including federal and state filings.
