Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 12/3/14
Keven Matsuura has been hired by HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union as vice president-business lending sales manager. He brings more than 18 years of banking experience to the credit union and most recently was vice president and Hawaii district manager with Bank of the Orient. He also is a director on the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce board.
Jamie McLaughlin has been hired as development coordinator for HUGS, a local nonprofit helping families with seriously ill children. She is responsible for fund development, including trusts and foundations, individuals, corporations and the annual gala. She also oversees the HUGS brand and all media relations.
Stephanie Caoili has been hired as family services program specialist with HUGS. She is responsible for the intake, assessment and follow-up of family referrals to HUGS, and actively supports HUGS families and potential HUGS families through the hospital outreach program. She also participates in HUGS programs to support seriously ill children and families through respite activities, support groups, sibling and parent support activities, and other aid programs.
Ikaika Rawlins has joined Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert as an associate in its Real Estate, Corporate Law, and Estate Planning and Probate Practice groups. He previously was a summer associate with the firm and a judicial extern with Hawaii Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Recktenwald.
Ben Trevino has been named president and COO of Bikeshare Hawaii. He was a founder of Interisland Terminal, a Honolulu-based nonprofit organization with projects including community spaces, Kakaako Agora, and R&D Bookstore and Cafe. He previously was with University of Hawaii Economic Research Organization (UHERO), where he was architect of UHERO Dashboard Project.
