Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 1/21/15
Thor Toma has been promoted to senior vice president of projects and new initiatives at Servco Pacific Inc. He will be involved in Servco’s strategic initiatives to support both current and prospective operations. Toma has been a member of Team Servco since 1990, and most recently served as vice president and director of strategic planning for Servco’s automotive operations.
Jill Kawakami has been hired as manager, project services with Outrigger Enterprises Group. She is responsible for brand architecture, design and facilities in Hawaii and on Guam. She also will manage construction and renovation projects with internal operations staff and/or third parties, ensuring the coordination of work for completion on time, on budget and within specifications, including Outrigger global design requirements.
J. Blaine Rogers has been named stockholder and director at Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing. He joined the firm in 2008 and practices in the areas of commercial litigation, lender liability, real estate and land use, title insurance and escrow, bankruptcy litigation, environmental and cultural resources, collections and foreclosures, constitutional and civil rights, class actions and appellate law.
Lisa Dries has been appointed audit manager with PKF Pacific Hawaii LLP. She will lead the firm’s audit engagement teams in financial reporting, audit and accounting services, client counsel and staff supervision. Dries has eight years of diversified auditing experience, providing quality service and solutions to clients in a variety of disciplines.
Michael G. Kim, LEED AP BD+C, was promoted to senior associate with Architects Hawaii Ltd. He has almost 30 years of experience and has been with AHL since 2005. His focus includes institutional, government and military projects including Ronald T.Y. Moon Judiciary Complex in Kapolei.
