Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 12/10/14
Richard Rapoza has been named director of strategic communications for Hawaii Pacific University. He will work closely with university leadership and is responsible for building, implementing and managing HPU’s comprehensive communication outreach strategies. He has more than 25 years of experience as a communications professional.
Ronald Quach has been hired as a marketing assistant with RevoluSun. He will support the marketing department through a variety of activities, including website maintenance, social media and graphic design, and serve the sales team, managing sales reports, coordinating merchandise and assisting with trade shows. He also will assist with customer outreach and community events.
Laurie Moore has been named executive director of Armed Services YMCA. Working closely with the Armed Services YMCA Honolulu board of directors and military base leadership, she will oversee the development and execution of all programs and services at branch locations at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Marine Corps Base Hawaii and U.S Army Schofield Barracks/Wheeler Army Airfield.
Nicole M. Forrester has joined Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL) as president and chief executive officer. She most recently served as director of the Young Leaders Program at Pacific Forum Center for Strategic and International Studies. PREL is a nonprofit that envisions a world in which all children and communities are literate and healthy, global participants grounded in and enriched by their cultures.
Greg Cha has been hired as a senior loan officer with Honolulu HomeLoans. He will specialize in residential mortgage loan origination and refinancing. He has 20 years of mortgage-industry experience, and previously worked at Fidelity National Title and Finance Factors.
