Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 11/12/14
Barbara Krieg has been appointed Hawaii state Department of Education’s assistant superintendent for the Office of Human Resources. She has been the state’s director of Department of Human Resources development since 2011, during which time she established an Equal Employment Opportunity program for state employees, restored an employee training and development program, and reorganized the department’s structure to align the delivery of personnel services within the state.
Shari Chang has been selected chief executive officer for Girl Scouts of Hawaii. Chang most recently led the sales, marketing and revenue management strategies at Aston Hotels & Resorts for the past eight years as senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Reg Baker, CPA PFS, has joined PKF Pacific Hawaii LLP as a partner, charged with leading its tax and accounting practices. He brings more than 25 years of accounting experience in a range of industries. Baker served as executive vice president, COO, CFO and treasurer for Hawaii Medical Assurance Association the past four years.
Michael Brumley has been hired as operations manager with Kiewit Building Group. He will manage Kiewit’s building operations on the island, and will collaborate closely with clients to ensure satisfaction, logistics coordination and timely completion of projects within budget.
