Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 10/8/14
Adam Waite has been named Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort’s director of beverage. He is responsible for daily operations related to beverage offerings at the resort. He also oversees many of the issues pertaining to the hotel’s lounge experience, including quality control, staff management, inventory, health and safety regulations, and customer service. The resort’s expansive entertainment lineup also is managed by Waite and his team.
Andra Yearsich has been hired as front-office manager at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. Her duties include directing and managing all front-office operations.
Christian Hastings has joined Graham Builders as architectural designer. His duties include designing and developing custom home plans, guiding homeowners during the design process, and creating plan and specification packages for the construction process.
Charles Nestle has been hired as commodities purchasing manager with Hawaiian Host Inc. He is responsible for managing activities involving inventory management, negotiating and initiating purchasing and supply agreements, and building strong working relationships with suppliers. He also will work with other departments to determine commodity supply needs and maintain forecasts on future orders.
Brad Evans has been promoted to director of exhibits and production at Bishop Museum. He will oversee all aspects of exhibit design and presentation, lead evaluations of current exhibits, and head the search for the traveling exhibits that Bishop Museum features every year. With a strong Web background, Evans also will ensure that the exhibits work synergistically with Web-based technologies. Since 1990, Evans has been involved deeply in both the scientific and technological aspects of the museum’s operations.
