Business Leaders on the Move in Hawaii – 10/29/14
Ryan Matsumoto has been promoted to senior marketing specialist in Servco Pacific Inc.’s marketing department. He will continue to be involved in the planning and execution of Servco’s marketing efforts, including advertising, public relations, promotions and events. He previously was an account coordinator at Laird Christianson Advertising.
Maria Fernando has been promoted to Hawaii regional training consultant with McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii. She will work with McDonald’s restaurants and operators in Hawaii and on Guam to help improve business results and meet planning targets by consulting on training and operational procedures. Fernando also will conduct training classes in person and virtually.
Roseann Chang has been hired as a human resources assistant with Hawaiian Host Inc. She will work under the director of human resources to provide administrative support, assist in the hiring process and handle the department’s day-today activities. She also will be responsible for Hawaiian Host’s record-keeping, benefits, employment verifications, and other areas of human resources and risk management.
Maria Sabio has been promoted to operations manager with RevoluSun in its Oahu division. She will manage the efficient flow of the operations department to maximize output and improve productivity. She also will identify inefficiencies, implement standards of performance, analyze reports on sales and operational performance, and work with top management to develop strategic plans to optimize productivity.
Kawena Uyematsu has been hired as a community project developer for RevoluSun’s Oahu division. She will provide education about solar, how it works and tax incentives available to Hawaii homeowners, as well as assist in developing custom solar systems for each of her clients.
