Brooke Tadena has been named executive banquet chef at Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. He will manage all facets of the resort’s banquet dining offerings. He most recently was executive sous chef at Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa, and previously was Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort’s banquet chef/chef garde manager, a position he held for two years.
Ken Niimura has been promoted to vice president and international banking assistant manager with Central Pacific Bank. He is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-valued clients in loan and deposit accounts. He also will help manage the International Banking Department, including staff and financial accountabilities.
Peter Sanchez has been named vice president of risk management with HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union. Since 2012, he has held the position of internal audit manager HawaiiUSA FCU, and has more than 25 years of audit and compliance experience. From 2002 to 2009, Sanchez served on the Board of Governors at Institute of Internal Auditors, Honolulu Chapter. He returned in 2011 and continues to serve on the board today.
Elana Kopelevich has been promoted to marketing director at RevoluSun. She will lead overall marketing strategy and oversee strategic communications, brand management, advertising and promotions, community outreach, customer programs and event coordination. Kopelevich joined RevoluSun in 2012 as marketing manager.
Ana Magalianes has been hired as project developer for RevoluSun’s Oahu division. She will work with homeowners to achieve energy independence by designing custom solar systems and finding the best financing options available to meet their needs and take advantage of government incentives.
