Blanche Suematsu Wins $150 at City Mill

On Wednesday, Blanche Suematsu needed lumber for some home-remodeling projects, so she took a trip to City Mill in Waimalu. As she made her purchase at 12:30 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Blanche with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 City Mill shopping spree.

“I like shopping at City Mill because they have everything we need for our household needs,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired teacher. “Also, the people are very helpful.”

Blanche was born and raised in Kalihi, and graduated from Farrington High School in 1967. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading and playing computer games. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like to read Ron Nagasawa’s column,” she said. “Also, I like the food articles and the ads.”
