Big mahalo for Arts Bonanza coverage

Dear Editor,

I am the mother of Alexa and Presley Anderson, who put on the Youth Fine Arts Bonanza, covered in the Aug. 6 Windward Islander.

The girls and I thought you captured their hearts and the good they are trying to effect beautifully. We also loved how you unscored their message about how good the fine arts are for young people.

Mr. Lawrence Tabudlo (staff photographer) captured fabulous shots of the girls and was a joy to talk to at the event. It was obvious that he was not just interested in making sure he had his facts correct, but also that he understood what the day was about and what it took to get there.
