Hiroshima Commemoration and Peace Service Ceremony
Izumo Taishakyo Mission, 215 N. Kukui St., 11 a.m., free. This ceremony marks the 73rd anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. The Peace Bell Ceremony opens with a blessing and purification ceremony conducted by reverend Daiya Amano, and includes special messages and songs presented by community and religious leaders and guests.
