Angela Campos Wins $150 Spree At Foodland

On a recent Thursday, Angela Campos needed to get some groceries, so she took a trip to Foodland in Waipio Gentry. As she made her purchase at 1:10 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Angela with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $150 Food-land shopping spree.

“I always come here because I live nearby, so it’s convenient,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a retired loan underwriter. “Also, they have excellent service and friendly people. And I like their senior citizen discount on Thursdays.”

Angela was born in the Philippines and moved to Hawaii in 1967. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, making flower arrangements, rubber stamping and traveling. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like the ads No. 1,” she said. “And I like to read about what’s happening in the community.”
