American Savings Opens HK Town Center Branch
A longtime area bank has reopened in a former shoe store space at Hawaii Kai Towne Center, marking the occasion with a $2,500 donation to Kaiser High School.
American Savings Bank staged the grand opening of its new Hawaii Kai branch Feb. 19 with a blessing and reception for bank officials, community leaders and customers. The check – a reliable cashier’s check, of course – will go toward the school’s athletic program.
Formerly at Koko Marina Center, American Savings now has a full service operation at the town center, plus safe deposit boxes, in a 2,400-square-foot space originally occupied by Payless Shoes.
