Amber Pang Wins A $250 Shopping Spree at Safeway

On a recent Wednesday, Amber Pang needed some last-minute household items and lunch, so she took a trip to Safeway in Kapolei with sons 4-year-old Jayden and 1-and-a-half-year-old Cole.

As they left the store at 12:40 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Amber with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Safeway shopping spree.

“We like the customer service at Safeway, the Safeway4U app and their poke,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a pharmacist technician.

Amber, a 2000 graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy, also has an 11-year-old daughter and lives in Kapolei with husband Jaime. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family and likes to read MidWeek.

“It has interesting articles and there are interesting people inside of it,” she said. “And I like reading about the local activities.”
