Allison Izu Trunk Show At Nordstrom
Hawaii-based fashion designer Allison Izu, who received national coverage in February’s O, The Oprah Magazine, hosts a trunk show at Nordstrom in the Petites Section on the third floor March 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Customers will have the chance to meet the designer, and receive a free gift (an Allison Izu logo cotton canvas bag) with purchase. There also will be a drawing for a free pair of Allison Izu jeans at the end of the event.
Nordstrom will be carrying Allison Izu’s ‘the Chinatown Trouser’ (which was featured in O) in black and the newly released blue/indigo (currently available only at Nordstrom), as well as the ‘Honolulu Wide Leg Trouser.’ Allison Izu is a petite clothing brand for women 5-foot-6 and shorter, specializing in premium denim. Kea Ho Hosts Fashion Event
Kea Ho, daughter of the legendary Don Ho, hosts Passport Hawaii at Aloha Tower March 30 with the world premiere of her new line of swimwear LOVECHILDE.
Presented by The Artists Movement, the event also will feature a music performance by Hed Kandi from the U.K., a LOVECHILDE couture swimwear and lingerie fashion show, and celebrity DJs Shannyn Sossamon and Mikey Gallagher.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Aloha Movement Project Education Program.
