Alberto Pombo Wins A $250 Spree At Longs Drugs

Alberto Pombo was about to head out from the North Shore to Kaneohe when he decided to pick up some snacks at Longs Drugs in Haleiwa.

As he made his purchase at 10:55 a.m. on that Thursday, MidWeek’s representative approached Alberto with a simple question. He answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Longs Drugs shopping spree. “I like shopping at Longs because they have nice hours — it’s longer than most stores in Haleiwa,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper.

Alberto lives in Waialua, and is also known as artist Camara, which is his mother’s maiden name and his way of honoring her. He’s currently working on a mural at North Shore Hookah Lounge, and enjoys spending his free time at the beach. He also likes to read MidWeek. “I like to read the horoscope,” he said. “Also, the movie reviews, the food writeups and pretty much everything.”
