Adele Pavao Wins A $250 Spree At Food Pantry

On Thursday, Adele Pavao needed to get some groceries, so she walked to her neighborhood Food Pantry in Waikiki.

As she made her purchase at 12:30 p.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Adele with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Food Pantry spree.

“I like shopping here because I like the clerks, they’re courteous and pleasant,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a care-giver. “I also like the selection of vegetables, fruits and meats.”

Adele was born and raised on the Big Island, and graduated from Hilo High School in 1969. She has two grown children, and enjoys reading, going out with friends and taking long strolls. She also likes to read MidWeek. “I like the stories,” she said, “and the supermarket ads.”
