Aaliyah Newsham Wins A $250 Spree At Foodland

On a recent Friday, Aaliyah Newsham needed to get some items for dinner, so she, 4-year-old son Jack and 4-month-old son Billy took a trip to Foodland in Ewa Beach. As she made her purchase at 11:45 a.m., MidWeek‘s representative approached Aaliyah with a simple question. She answered correctly and instantly won a $250 Foodland shopping spree.

“I like shopping at Foodland because they always have very good, fresh produce and a nice variety,” said this week’s Mystery Shopper, a stay-at-home mom. “Also, the employees are usually very friendly.”

Aaliyah was born and raised in Pearl City and graduated from Pearl City High School in 1996. Her hobbies include knitting and doing crossword puzzles. She also likes to read MidWeek.

“I like Ron Nagasawa’s column,” she said. “Also, I like to look at the Paina pictures from the different events and Amy Alkon’s advice column.”
