A Shot At Success For Singers

Aspiring singers have another chance to show off their skills at the Kunia Live singing competition, which returns from 3 to 5 p.m. June 29 to Kunia Shopping Center in the Bank of Hawaii parking lot.

The competition is divided into three age categories: 6-11 years, 12-17 and 18 and up.

First-, second- and third-place winners will receive prizes from various center merchants. First-place winners also get a $50 gift certificate from Pas De Deux, a local performing arts school. In addition, winners will qualify for a spot in the Grand Finale, which will take place in November. Winners of the Grand Finale will be awarded cash prizes.

Participants must bring their own instrumental music CD.
