A Special Summertime Collaboration
Blood Bank of Hawai‘i partnered with Special Olympics Hawai‘i for a summertime blood drive campaign. For each blood donation made, BBH provided a monetary donation to SOH, and the effort raised $15,000 for the nonprofit that offers year-round sports activities to those with intellectual disabilities. Donation Bolsters Fire Academy
Honolulu Fire Department Federal Credit Union donated $2,000 to Ho‘omau Fire Academy in honor of the academy’s second year of teaching youth ages 16-24 about the importance of public service.
