CEO Aids Scholarship Fund

The Hawai‘i Building Industry Foundation Education + Scholarship Fund received a $50,000 donation from past Building Industry Association of Hawai‘i CEO Karen Nakamura (second from left). Castle Gets New Equipment

Adventist Health Castle’s new mammography system was made possible through a $1 million donation from The Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation. The latest model of the Hologic 3Dimensions Mammography System is considered the most advanced mammography technology in the state. It will enhance the health system’s ability to provide premier breast cancer screening and diagnostic services.

Banquet Recognizes Newest Eagle Scouts

Scouting America, Aloha Council recognized a group of 2023-24 Eagle Scouts at its 72nd annual banquet. Attaining the Eagle Scout rank is the pinnacle of a Scout’s journey and is achieved by fewer than 6% of Scouts nationwide. The prestigious rank requires each Scout earn a minimum of 21 merit badges and complete a community service project that showcases their responsibility, commitment and determination to make a positive impact in the community.
