Sweet Fundraiser As Easy As ‘Pie’
First Insurance Co. of Hawai‘i brought back its “Pie-A-Friend” fundraiser, which garnered $1,200 for Aloha United Way. FICOH associates spent $1 per vote to select the top 12 coworkers who would get a pie in the face. On Nov. 2, employees purchased pies at $5 apiece to take their best shot at the 12 good-natured targets outside of FICOH’s Honolulu headquarters on Ward Avenue.
