‘Ohana Receives Help With First Homes
Nareit Foundation’s recent $25,000 grant to Hawai‘i HomeOwnership Center Housing and Land Trust assists six workforce families who are first-time homebuyers. The donation covers costs such as insurance, utilities, association dues and minor renovations to prepare homes for the new owners. Fostering Future Health Care Workers
University of Hawai‘i John A. Burns School of Medicine, or JABSOM, recently staged its inaugural Huaka‘i symposium, aimed at connecting the medical school with high school administrators from around the state and strengthening Hawai‘i’s health care industry.
