Local Restaurants Rally For Food Banks
T S Restaurants — the parent company of eateries like Duke’s Waikīkī and Hula Grill — recently donated $8,000 to Hawai‘i Foodbank in support of the organization’s mission to end hunger in the state. Funds were raised at the company’s eight locations on O‘ahu, Kaua‘i and Maui and will support initiatives on the respective islands in which the monies were collected. Hawai‘i State FCU Supports Keiki, Kūpuna
Through the Angel Tree program, Hawai‘i State Federal Credit Union donated nearly $3,000 to The Salvation Army, Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division, plus an additional $2,500. The money went toward gifts for keiki and kūpuna in need.
