Company Revs Its Engines For Hospital
For the seventh consecutive year, JN Group Inc. kicked fundraising efforts into high gear with its Drive For Heart campaign, during which it committed $100 to Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women & Children’s pediatric heart care program for every new vehicle or motorcycle purchased at its facilities. Hickam FCU Makes Waves With Nonprofit
Hickam Federal Credit Union donated $5,000 to Artists Save Waves, a nonprofit founded in 2019 by then-Punahou School student Stephanie Hung. The organization strives to meld environmental activism and artwork. Last year, Hung also created the designs for a new credit card line that Hickam FCU launched. Clothing Sales Go Toward A Good Cause
Thanks to the support of employees and shoppers, UNIQLO Hawai‘i was able to donate 288 pounds of food and 100 eco-friendly tote bags to Hawai‘i Foodbank. This year, the clothing company is continuing to support the food bank through its UTme! T-shirt printing service. UNIQLO plans to donate 5% of the overall proceeds to help fight hunger.
