First Hawaiian Bank Golf Tourney Supports REHAB

Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific Foundation held its 27th annual First Hawaiian Bank REHAB Golf Challenge at Hawai‘i Prince Golf Club. The sold-out tournament raised $25,000 to support the financial needs of Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. “The money raised helps about 11,000 patients annually who benefit from REHAB Hospital’s programs and services,” states Lori Suan, chief development officer for REHAB Foundation. School Raises Funds For HUGS

Sacred Hearts Academy presented a check for $1,086 to HUGS (Help, Understanding & Group Support) as part of its Catholic Schools Week fundraiser. ProService Garners $102K For AUW

For the seventh straight year, ProService Hawai‘i boasted 100% staff participation in its charitable giving to Aloha United Way. Because of this, the HR management services company was able to donate $102,673 to the nonprofit. HSBF Grants $100,000 To Legal Aid Society Of Hawai‘i

Hawai‘i State Bar Foundation awarded a $100,000 grant to Legal Aid Society of Hawai‘i to assist those facing eviction. “We are grateful to HSBF for this significant investment to continue our work in providing critical legal assistance to families facing evictions,” states Nalani Fujimori Kaina, executive director of LASH. “HSBF, the charitable arm of our bar association, decided that we needed to step forward to make a difference to address the problem of impending evictions through the communities of our state,” adds Diane Ono, HSBF president.
