Shriners Donates Blankets For Kūpuna
Shriners Hospitals for Children–Honolulu donated more than 50 blankets to Lē‘ahi Hospital as part of its hospitalwide “Wrapped with Aloha” project. Hospital staff dropped off new blankets throughout the month, or could choose to make a blanket during a “blanket bee” held after work. Inpatients who are part of the hospital’s Kōkua Club then helped wrap the blankets, and decorated each package with a bow, leaf and card for the recipients. A small group from Shriners Hospitals for Children–Honolulu then delivered the blankets to Lē‘ahi Hospital on Nov. 20.
