G70 Donates To Seven Local Nonprofits
G70 gave $24,000 to seven local nonprofits serving the community as part of its moved-up Giving Tuesday initiative. Fifteen principals donated from their own salaries to create the fund, which provides $3,500 to each of the following local groups for their specific initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic: Girl Scouts of Hawai‘i, Hawai‘i Baptist Academy, ‘Iolani School, Kupu, Nu‘uanu YMCA, PBS Hawai‘i and Salvation Army. Servco Donates Vehicles To Mālama Meals
To help Mālama Meals scale its delivery program of fresh food to communities and kūpuna, Servco provided a commercial delivery truck and a Toyota Tacoma to the nonprofit. The vehicles were used to assist with the delivery of food to those in need. Mālama Meals was formed through a partnership between Aloha Venues and its affiliated partners Aloha Beer Co., Da Spot Health Foods and Juices, and Blue Water Shrimp in early March to deliver 8,000 free meals per day to in-need groups across the island.
