Ho‘ola Na Pua Receives Donation
Still & Moving Center and its students donated $2,093 to Ho‘ola Na Pua at the culmination of its Passport to Health adventure/benefit. For a two-month period last summer, interested students of Still & Moving Center were challenged to take a variety of classes, for which Still & Moving donated $1 per class to the nonprofit, supplemented by matching funds from some participants. Ho‘ola Na Pua is a nonprofit organization that helps sex-tra˝ cked young girls reintegrate into society through health, education and advocacy. Kaiser Doc Gives To H.O.M.E. Project
A Kaiser Permanente Hawai‘i doctor who won an award for her outstanding community service dedicated $10,000 to support The Hawai‘i H.O.M.E. Project, which provides medical care for the homeless.
